Events
OLO ry organizes a variety of cool events throughout the school year! There is surely something for everyone!
There are lots of traditional events in the event field of OLO ry:n, such as Hyvän OLOn päivä, Puurojuhla and the music event Mukavan OLOn rock! There are also lots of parties, sitsits, chill out evenings and of course sports events.
The autumn is full of events for freshers, where they will get to know their classmates, the campus, the faculty and of course, the city of Oulu. The annual Fresher Picnic is organized at the end of August, where both the old and new members are welcome!
The annual party weekend, Talvipäivät (Winter Days), is organized by SOOL. Each year the teacher students of Finland gather into a city in Finland to have fun, party and get involved in awesome events. In 2023, Oulu hosts!
CO-OPERATION
OLO doesn't always work alone in organizing events, but works closely with different student organizations and other co-operation partners. For example, Fresher Orienteering is organized by all the guilds in the Faculty of Education, through an umbrella guild called Kaski. Through this co-operation, Valentine's Day Ball and different Sitsit have been created.
NOT ONLY ABOUT PARTYING...
OLO reacts to students' need also by organizing a variety of courses, lectures and educational events. When organizing these types of events we do take your wishes into consideration!
OLO ry takes traditions seriously, but always tries to develop and renew. You are warmly invited to organize, develop and brainstorm new ideas, or to just enjoy all the events organized by OLO.
